Overview:
We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Inside Sales Account Manager, for our Prince George, BC location.
Specific Responsibilities include:
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing specific customer relationships within a designated territory. Key responsibilities include driving sales growth, identifying opportunities, meeting revenue targets, understanding customer needs, providing product/service information and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales Account Manager’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer service experiences.
- Meeting key objectives with respect to margin preservation, growing and retaining current customers, and pursuing growth opportunities.
- Best in class customer service and communication, order entry, sourcing, managing customer inquiries, and analyzing data and trends.
- Work with Sales and Management team to develop strategic accounts to target and communicate progress.
- Effectively prioritize own time to achieve results.
- Provide product knowledge information to customers in a confident and friendly manner.
- Ability to provide detailed pricing terms and prepare and present customer quotations.
- Efficient and detail orientated data entry skills
- Ability to give consistent and effective customer feedback to colleagues on an ongoing basis.
- Continuing to gain product knowledge and ahead of industry changes in products and services.
Qualifications:
- High-school diploma or, GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, counter or inside sales role with preference given to that in industrial sales environment
- Demonstrate understanding of the industry, product knowledge and aptitude for continuous learning.
- Strong organizational, computer, communication and negotiating skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
- Solid references
