Overview:
Our Hose & Rigging Shop currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Hose Shop Labourer.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
As a Hose Shop Labourer, your responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
- Take direction from and coordinate activities with hose shop supervisor
- Receive customer orders from order desk or front counter
- Manages and prioritize orders
- Pull product from shelves
- Ensures accuracy of orders
- Organize/package and correctly mark customer orders for shipping
- Assemble hoses in accordance with manufacture recommendations
- Operate manual and hydraulic hose crimping equipment as per manufactures instructions
- Operate various hose cutting equipment (knives, chop saw)
- Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, carts, dollies)
- Operate pressure testing equipment
- General housekeeping duties
- Participate and contribute to the company Health and Safety Program
- Report to activities and schedule to supervisor
- Attend training sessions as requested
- On-Call Duties
Qualifications Include:
- Previous hose assembly experience
- Experience working hose crimping equipment
- Experience operating pressure testing equipment
- Self-Motivated
- Strong organizational skills
- Be able to read pick tickets and take instruction
- Forklift operator training
- WHMIS Training
- TDG Training
Working Conditions:
- Work under time constraints
