Northern Metalic Sales is a Canadian Independent Wholesale Industrial Distributor based in Grande Prairie, AB with operations across Alberta & BC.
Northern Metalic Sales is part of a larger, diverse group of companies with interests in wholesale distribution, oilfield service & supply, lubricants distribution, land and real estate development, rail construction & transload, and finance.
Overview:
We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of E-Commerce Support for our Grande Prairie, AB location.
Specific Responsibilities include:
The primary responsibilities of E-Commerce Support are, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintaining and updating content in the ERP and on the eCommerce website.
- Thorough knowledge of the backend of the ERP.
- Participates in gathering product information, pricing and offerings from vendors.
- Assist with marketing ventures.
- Manage overall health of the eCommerce website, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Work closely with platform provider to resolve any issues caused by external factors.
- Work closely on eCommerce advancements with internal and supplier development teams.
- Attend meetings as required.
Qualifications include:
- Must be able to read, write and take direction in English.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Familiarity with content management systems/databases or similar.
- Must be proactive with strong organizational and time management skills.
