Leyman Distributors (a division of Northern Metalic Sales) is Grande Prairie’s premier hose manufacturer and distributor. We provide hoses for a wide array of applications and offer a large inventory of quality hose, fitting and related accessory options for all sectors of industry.

Overview:

We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Account Manager/Hose Specialist.

Specific Responsibilities include:

The primary responsibilities of the Account Manager/Hose Specialist are, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maximizes sales performance, acquires necessary resources, and develops strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Identifies and maximizes all sales and market development opportunities for Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Industrial hose, fittings and adapters.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction, troubleshoots and resolves customer challenges in a timely manner.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and makes recommendations with respect to lost sales opportunities to continually improve upon sales results.
  • Establishes effective lines of communication with management to ensure sufficient resources are available/acquired to meet customer requirements and timelines.
  • Stays abreast of product developments and relays appropriate information to key stakeholders.
  • Improves and increases brand awareness for the company within the community.
  • Supplies after sales technical support to customers as required.
  • Performs all work in an ethical manner, compliant with company policies.
  • Travels within assigned sales territory.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications include:

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably with account management experience in an Industrial Hose Shop
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Hose Shop Operations experience considered an asset.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Basic understanding of the Oil &Gas Industry, Pulp &Paper, and Forestry Industry (considered an asset)

Working Conditions:

  • Able to drive to remote locations within assigned territory for sales meetings and customer visits.

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Schedule:
