Northern Metalic Sales is a Canadian Independent Wholesale Industrial Distributor based in Grande Prairie, AB with operations across Alberta & BC.
Northern Metalic Sales is part of a larger, diverse group of companies with interests in wholesale distribution, oilfield service & supply, lubricants distribution, land and real estate development, rail construction & transload, and finance.
Overview:
We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Branch Manager at our Prince George, BC location.
Specific Responsibilities include:
The primary responsibilities of the Branch Manager are, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage branch performance, allocate resources and set policies to achieve business targets
- Ensure staff are providing quality service to customers
- Assist staff in daily operations
- Set and ensure branch sales goals are met
- Manage budgets, allocate branch funds and define financial objectives.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide positive feedback
- Develop and implement sales strategy in coordination with sales manager
- Increase brand awareness for the company within the community
- Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback
- Resolve customer issues
- Forecast and assess market for business opportunities.
Qualifications include:
We are seeking individuals with a minimum of five years’ experience within a distribution environment. Previous supervisory experience is an asset. Individuals with excellent computer, organizational, communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be given preference.
